Our Backyard Gardens : There's no better place we'd rather be than our own backyard in the spring and summer. What would be called "work" by some is fun "play" to us. I love digging, planting, trimming, watering, and most of all, PHOTOGRAPHING our beautiful gardens!

Butterflies in my Garden : We have several varieties of flowers in our gardens that attract beautiful butterflies. It's so relaxing to follow them around with my camera.

Birds : We had the pleasure of watching a robin build her nest and hatch three babies, right outside of our sunroom window. I would sit on the patio and watch her go in and out of the tree feeding her young. That gave me the opportunity to prepare and be ready to photograph her as she flew in and out.

Our Waterfall & Pond : Over the years, our pond has evolved and changed as Bill keeps expanding and modifying it. He started out with a small cement bowl, and it grew to what it is today, suitable for the grandkids to play in. Bill designed and created it all himself. We just love the sound of the water falling and the birds it attracts, as well as our colorful flowers around it. It's sad to see it covered with snow in the winter (see the last photo)!
